Here’s a yummy banana split for ya, and it’s healthier than the traditional banana splits!
This recipe is an immediate fix for any sweet tooth. Plus it’s made with raw brownie pieces – yum!!!
This raw choco-nana split, literally takes minutes to make, with no baking or cooking required.
Sub the raw “ice cream” with an alternative, or play around with options, like adding frozen strawberries 😉
“Ice Cream”
½ Frozen Banana
Raw Brownie
¼ cup Walnuts (or Pecans)
¼ cup Dates
1 tbs Raw Cacao
2 tsp Shredded Coconut
1 tsp Raw Agave or Honey
Raw Chocolate Drizzle
1 tbs Raw Cacao
1 tbs Coconut Oil
1 tbs Raw Agave or Honey
1 Banana
How to make the Raw “Ice Cream”
Add frozen banana in food processor or blender.
Mix texture becomes smooth.
You may have to scrape down sides a number of times to get a perfect blend.
Transfer to a freezer-friendly bowl, and freeze until ready to use.
How to make Raw Brownies
- In a food processor (or blender), mix walnuts (or pecans), until texture is crumbly
- Add dates and mix until combined with nuts
- Add remaining ingredients and mix until combined.
- Place brownie mix on a plate or parchment paper and form into a bar like shape (shape height and width to preferred size)
- Place in freezer until ready to use
How to make Raw Chocolate Drizzle
In a small bowl, whisk/mix all ingredients until combined.
Putting it all together
Split banana in half
Add ice cream
Cut brownie bar into desired pieces
Drizzle with chocolate
